Glass Harp occurs as Youngstown, Ohio based power trio consisting of guitarist Phil Keaggy, drummer John Sferra and bassist Dan Pecchio.

In the early Seventies, Glass Harp performed by using Traffic,Yes, The Kinks, Humble Pie, Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, and Grand Funk Railroad among others, on stages ranging from either The Fillmore auditorium to Carnegie Hall.

Keaggy left a band inside 1972 to pursue a solo career in the Contemporary Christian Music field. Sferra & Pecchio continued to perform together when Glass Harp awhile, adding guitar player Tim Burks & fiddler Randy Benson, however at length went their separate ways. Completely trio band members stand reunited the total of days, including many swell standard performances around Ohio, and the short tour inside 2000. a 2000 reunion tour involved a sold out performance by owning the Youngstown Syrnphony Orchestra, which was recorded and freed as a Ii Video placed, entitled Strings Tied. Sferra besides played drums in Keaggy's Deep red & Blue album, & a 1993 tour in trend lines of that release.

At one point, Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh had considered joining the band.
